For this week, I'm going to try to feature a particular animal every day. I'm hoping that it's in line with what
cuteanimalpics set this up for- while spiders will continue to have a daily feature, there are plenty of other animals that are normally either not commonly regarded as cute or that people might have reservations about which do deserve a chance in the spotlight, too.

Meet the Antilles pinktoe tarantula, also known as Avicularia versicolor. While they're bright blue when they're babies, they grow up multicoloured (and rather sparkly), hence their names. Like many other tarantula species, they're very furry.
