Good evening! Here's a change from all the stripes and spots yesterday. For today and tomorrow we're taking a look at some animals with very... well, I think it's interesting, but it's up to you to decide! Today, we're building on some of the creatures that we've seen over the past few days, that is- melanistic animals.
Melanism is, simply put, the exact opposite of albinism. Instead of being all light, you get all dark instead. This happens in all sorts of animals, so let's just take a look at a few! Instead of listing the species name first, this time I'm putting all of them at the bottom of this post. Can you identify the animals? It shouldn't be too hard.
