IT'S SPIDERTIME source Meet an almost symmetrical jumping spider! If you've ever wondered why they look like that and have such huge eyes, well, that's simple- their eyes are referred to as 'ocelli'- you'll notice that joltik has two of them and two more normal looking eyes- and work in pairs, with each pair adapted to a special task. Only some of the eyes can be moved, though! Others are just like tiny light sensors that are fixed in place. Some spiders even have telescopic vision, which helps them to zoom in and lock on to their prey. For more information, here's the relevant wikipedia page to check out.
