Right, let's get to today's pics! Some are small, some are large, all of them have two eyes though in some pics you might only see one of them and a lot of the time they do face the same knee-jerk 'AKLKRLKLK GET IT AWAY' reaction that spiders do, which is maybe a little sad, but, well, let's get to it. I'm afraid I started this a bit late today, so it's not as laid out, but hopefully there's still a lot that you might find aww-worthy in this!

Anyway, if it isn't obvious by now, today we're going to look at snakes.

And for today's spider...

Let's take a look at Bagheera kiplingi! And yes, it really is named for Bagheera from the Jungle Book. A species of jumping spider that's found in Central America, it's particularly notable for the fact that it's... well, mostly vegertarian. It doesn't eat bugs, just the tips of the leaves on the ant acacia plant. That's what it appears to be holding in most of the pictures. While a few other spider species have also been shown to eat nectar, none does it to the extent that these little guys do. They're known to live in groups and hang out together. The males even stick around and help the female spiders look after their babies- something which pretty much no other spider species does.

And here's a video if you want to watch one of them in action!
